Compass Orienteering

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and Rolla Parks & Recreation are hosting a “Compass Orienteering” event for families & individuals at Ber Juan City Park on Wednesday, July 22, between 6:30 – 8 PM.

Don’t be lost in the woods! Come learn more about orienteering and practice your skills on a new compass orienteering course at Ber Juan Park! Participants will learn the basics of reading maps and using a compass during a brief classroom portion, and then will have a chance to put their skills into practice. We will meet at the Ber Juan Park Pavilion just east of SplashZone Waterpark for the first part of the program. Dress for the weather and wear shoes with good ankle support. Registration is required.
