Newburg Railroad Days
Newburg Railroad Days is a small-town fair celebrating Newburg’s rich railroad heritage—founded by the railroad in 1883. This annual event kicks off with a community fish fry at the Red Shed in Doolittle on Friday, June 13 from 4:00–7:00 p.m., followed by a bar hop that evening at Blues Too and Perry’s in Newburg.
Festivities continue on Saturday, June 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., featuring vendors, food, live music, kids’ activities, an art show, car show, cornhole tournament, and a model train display in the historic Houston House. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m., and additional attractions include the Children’s Museum Festival, Houston House lunch, and school tours.
The celebration wraps up Saturday evening with a Family Glow Dance Party at the Red Shed from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
Please note: all events and vendors are cash only.
