Community Workshop
The Phelps County Dream Center along with the TKD Foundation is hosting a community workshop on April 29 from 9 am to 4:30 pm at the Grace Church in Rolla. At this workshop you will walk away with practical tools to help you set achievable goals for your mission and lead those you serve into flourishing, independent lives! Based on the “7 Marks of Effective Compassion” from Dr. Marvin Olasky’s The Tragedy of American Compassion, the day-long interactive training will cover: • What human flourishing truly looks like for those in poverty • Program models and practices that lead to success stories • How to incorporate what you learn into the work you are already doing.
