Colorectal Cancer Awareness Walk

On March 8 there will be a Colorectal Cancer Awareness Walk at Lions Club Park starting at 2 pm. The event is inspired by one family member’s diagnosis of Stage 4 colorectal cancer just a few months after turning 28. Rather than allowing cancer to define that journey, the family is using this experience to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and bring the community together in support.

The walk is open to survivors, caregivers, families, and anyone who wants to stand in solidarity. Vendors will also be on site offering resources related to cancer care, support services, and future planning.
