On Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, there will be an informational Town Hall meeting at the Centre at 6:00 pm in front of the fireplace in the atrium. The Mayor will be presenting information on Proposition S and staff will be present to answer questions about the options for the re-imagined natatorium as well as answer questions about the ballot measure. Reading of the Declaration of Independence

As part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Ozark Patriots Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will host a public reading of the Declaration of Independence on the steps of the Phelps County Courthouse. The event will take place on July 8 at 5:00 p.m. and offers the community an opportunity to reflect on the founding principles of the nation and commemorate this historic milestone.

Phelps County Bank is getting ready for LEMONADE! The 31st Annual Take-A-Stand Against Child Abuse will take place July 10th and 11th. You can support this worthy cause in many ways: by making a donation, purchasing a t-shirt, participating in a Dine to Donate event, hosting a lemonade stand, or buying lemonade on July 10th and 11th. Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting children in our community.
