Improvisation Workshop with OAT Alum Sabra Sellers
Ages 12 & up
Tuition: $20

To improvise is to create content on your feet! Studies show theatrical improvisation can teach us how to reduce our inner critic and let creativity flourish! Improv encourages collaboration over competition. It is often used in corporate training for team building and communication!

About Sabra:
Sabra Sellers is the Theatre Program Coordinator for the Chesterfield Family YMCA, a professional director, and Equity actor. You may remember her from several OAT productions since her first in 2009; most notably Cinderella in Into the Woods, Chelsea in On Golden Pond, and her favorite: Smee in Peter Pan. Her most exciting directorial project was also her most recent: Shrek the Musical at the YMCA’s Chesterfield Community Theater. This summer, she will be directing Matilda for Spotlight Productions. Sabra’s professional experiences and knowledge-base are valuable assets to students who seek to enter a theatrical field or wish to become more confident communicators. She is thrilled to return to Rolla; OAT is her theatre home!
